security in flight - spiralsTo enter a spiral, enter a tight 360 turn, when the leading edge drops into the turn, squeeze on a bit more and it will lock into a spiral, with the leading edge now facing the ground. If you feel sick and start seeing dots, stars, tunnel vision, or blacking out, you must pull out right away or throw your reserve.

To pull out you smoothly release the initiating brake and slowly bleed the energy out. If it locks in, then you apply outside brake, as hard as required, and it will pull straight out. They are very powerful and should be treated whit respect.
